Serving all of your spriritual needs in the NY Metro area
For almost 25 years, Rabbi Rachel Rembrandt has served as a rabbi open to the idea that all Jews deserve a connection to their Judaism and the Jewish people. Her rabbinic history has included work as an rabbi-educator, a hospice chaplain, and the spiritual leader of congregations large, small and LGBT. With her master's degree in school counseling, she has also worked with people in their search for meaning and understanding in their own lives. Her philosophy reflecting openness to innovation and respect for tradition, allows her to offer her own ceremony or one in which she works with you to create one with your own touch.
Rabbi Rachel Rembrandt is committed to egalitarian Judaism, showing a devotion to equality between men and women. She also officiates with pleasure at the life cycle events of interfaith and same-sex couples. Whether it be a wedding, baby naming, renewal of vows, or unfortunately, a funeral or a monument unveiling, Rabbi Rachel Rembrandt is here to serve you. Rabbi Rachel Rembrandt officiates at Jewish life cycle events in Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island, the NY Tri State area, and NJ. She is also available for destination events elsewhere, both in and outside of the United States.
